Turn Work Breaks Into Micro-Workouts
Finding a long block of time for exercise can be hard during a busy workday. I began using a few of my short breaks to move instead.
My work rhythm included focus sessions with a short break between them. On some breaks, I walked outside or used a treadmill. On others, I did a few simple bodyweight movements.
Keep It Simple
The point was to make movement easy to fit into my day. I did not need to turn every break into a workout. Sometimes a short walk was enough.
Use The Break You Already Have
If your day has natural pauses, consider whether one could include movement that fits your situation. It could be a walk, gentle stretching, or something else you enjoy.
Let It Be Flexible
A small routine is easier to keep when it can change with your schedule and energy. I used breaks as an opportunity to move, not another reason to feel behind.
