Walking Outside As Part Of My Workday
A walk outside became one of the places where I could think, pray, and collect ideas for my work.
In the original episode, I talked about making time to walk during the day. I sometimes used those minutes to develop an article or product idea, and sometimes simply to step away from the desk.
Give Ideas Room
When I am trying to solve a problem, a change of setting can help me look at it differently. I keep a way to capture an idea when it comes, then return to the work with a clearer next step.
Make It Your Own
There is no required distance or schedule here. What mattered to me was finding a repeatable pause that fit my day. For someone else, that pause may look different.
Walking became part of how I made space for reflection and creative work.
